Product Design: Studio SAY/SO

Studio SAY/SO is a contemporary furniture collective created by New York-based product designer Sophie Borch-Jacobsen + interior designer Sarita Posada. The pair's first furniture collection was ultimately inspired by Jerico, Colombia - a very small quaint community just outside of Medellín. "All the houses in the town are painted a different combination of vibrant colors. The buildings are a reflection of the people—warm and colorful—and we wanted to translate the joy you feel walking through a town like this into this collection," says Sophie and Sarita. The chairs are also incredibly lightweight and the design incorporates durable fabrics, a minimally designed framework, and most importantly comfort.
