Product Design: 'The Fans'

A showcase of minimal, pastel-hued electric fans was created to intersect the ideas of art + design for an exhibition called LYNfabrikken in Denmark --which curates the work of conceptual artists and designers. The purpose of this project was to join the properties of color + motion to create a space where the two exist. It is intriguing to see the fans as stationary entities as well as how they function in a kinetic state. The idea of transforming a product as mundane as a fan into a conceptual work of art is also an objective.
