Packaging: Simpson Wine Bottles

Created by Russian designers Constanin Bolimond and Dmitry Patsukevich, these animated wine bottles are reminiscent of none other than Homer and Marge Simpson - two characters starring in one of the most popular animated television programs in modern history. The design of the bottles emulate simple color-blocked versions of the clothing Homer and Marge wear in the series. This concept is a direct influence of Piet Mondrian's painting aesthetic. I love the satirical but simple design of this packaging; I consider it eye-catching and playful, yet still minimally and tastefully executed.
