Concept Design: The Sine Collection

The Sine Collection is a design project composed of minimal clothing racks and hangers created by Stockholm based designers Erik Olovsson and Kyuhyung Cho. The shapely and curvy design of the racks is inspired by the Sine wave itself - in regards to periodic oscillations. Olovsson and Cho's mission is to explore the various forms of sense and object - which include contrasting qualities such as straight / soft lines, light aluminum / heavy stone, etc. The clothing racks are crafted from marble and powder coated aluminum and the hangers are made from steel. The dips + curves also serve as a way to evenly sort clothing for organizational purposes.
